Although tempted to engage my contemplative counterpart in a spirited debate regarding the rationality (or irrationality, as the case may be) of participating in the lottery–it must be believed, dear reader, that I serve a larger role than that of faithful advocate for the Devil–I have chosen to let my first post serve merely as an introduction. Let the words that follow from this point forth represent me as best as possible. Esse est percipi. That may, or may not be true, yet, I find one fact to be inescapable: I know myself via the eyes of others.
